Reset Password & MFA Methods

You have forgotten the password of your UGent account (@ugent.be) or your configured MFA methods no longer work. Log in via ItsmeĀ® or with card reader and your Belgian e-ID (online government) to confirm your identity. Afterwards, you can get a temporary password here and/or reset your MFA methods.

If you use an Intune device

If you use an Intune or registered device, try updating your MFA methods via myaccount.microsoft.com/ugent.be before resetting your account using the procedure below.

If you are unsure which option to use, please try logging in with your Belgian identity card first.

Guest account password reset

Guest accounts please update your credentials at: Microsoft.
